"Behind every score is a whole person — I always look at both."

Kayela Malewitz

Safe Zone Certified

Hi, I’m Kayela. I am a master’s level psychometrist, focused on administering assessments to children and adults.

Kayela earned her BA in psychology with a minor in Spanish at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan and her MS in clinical psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University in St. Louis. When she completes assessments, she doesn’t only look at test scores but at behaviors and past experiences as these influence and shape the results. Particularly, Kayela has an interest in how the brain and behavior interact, how this shows up on assessment, and how this relates to the person being evaluated as a whole.

Kayela is Safe Zone Certified and practices in a culturally sensitive manner. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association’s Neuropsychology & Advancement of Psychotherapy divisions.
